Its calm and relaxing oasis of greenery and landscaped gardens neighbors the historic 500-year-old Hie Shrine. The main entrance and lobby area, designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, expresses the Japanese style of welcoming through its expansive eaves of natural wood and flows of water. The Main Lobby is adorned with Ikebana floral arrangements by Sogetsu, with different arrangements for each month so that guests can enjoy the changes in seasons.
