Day 1: Flight from London to Nuuk. Greenland's compact capital is set along a deep fjord system framed by rugged mountains. Despite its small scale, the city is a vibrant center of modern Greenlandic life. If time allows, you can explore the harbor, museums, and historic districts before embarkation. Nuuk is also where you start to feel the essence of the Arctic: ice, sea, and the mountainous peaks of Quassussuaq and Ukkusissat. You'll be welcomed aboard the ship by the Expedition Team and will have time to settle into your cabin, before enjoying your first dinner onboard.
